CURRENTR26 Transcript Intelligence IIR26.32 Reconstruction + Cloud Media Recovery

What changed — without the tech fog

R26 builds on the repaired R25 client path instead of reopening the login, private-storage or transcription core. A finished transcript is now something Daniel can search, navigate, play from, follow, mark and hand into Studio when real timing exists.

Release marker: Vault reconstruction + cloud media recovery R26.32. The ≈80-hour figure used in the earlier client build report remains an estimated engineering + QA effort summary, not a minute-by-minute timecard.

New in R26 — Transcript Intelligence II

Search transcript

Type or speak what you remember. Vault searches the finished transcript and clearly labels less-certain typo-tolerant matches.

Jump + Play Here

Timed matches can jump to the matching transcript words and start the original recording from the real timestamp.

Karaoke-style follow

When the provider supplied real word timing, the active word lights up as the original recording plays.

Mark a passage

Select transcript words and save the passage with the session. Real timing is attached only when the provider actually supplied complete boundaries.

Send selection to Studio

A selected or marked passage can be handed to MACRODOSE Studio when Vault has a trustworthy start and end. The handoff carries only bounded source identity, timing and safe file metadata — never bearer tokens, signed storage links or raw audio in the URL.

Long Session health check

Observes the real account + private Storage preflight from this device without repairing it. It does not upload audio, create a session, refresh the parent account, create a Storage bucket, expose a bearer token, or reveal a signed Storage URL.

NOT CHECKED

Prior real-device QA milestone

During the recent client QA cycle, the full long-recording production chain completed on the real iPhone flow: private storage → Deepgram processing → secure result return → finished transcript in Vault. This update guide documents that recorded QA result; opening this page does not re-run the phone test.

The simple way to use Vault now

1. Record or import

Use one main action. Title and category are optional.

2. Review transcript

Correct words, search for moments, mark passages and use real timing when available.

3. Listen

Read the written transcript back with device voice or Premium Voice.

4. Export

Download the transcript with one tap. Extra formats stay under More export choices.

What the recent QA push repaired

MAIN owns the shared MACRODOSE login while embedded Vault follows that session.
Long recordings are checked before upload, stored privately first and handled through durable transcription jobs.
Valid iPhone MP3/M4A recordings can be relayed to Deepgram as the actual stored audio bytes when a private URL cannot be fetched reliably.
Deepgram result-return authentication has a provider-only recovery path so a completed job is not discarded because a hosting layer consumed its Authorization header.
Estimated transcription progress gives visible movement while the real provider callback remains the source of truth for completion.
Premium read-back can use the server-side managed ElevenLabs key without exposing it in browser code or GitHub.

One account

Embedded Vault follows the MACRODOSE account instead of independently rotating the same refresh session.

Recording custody

A later transcription failure should not erase the original recording. Long-session recovery remains separate from the stored source.

Easier to operate

Large text is the default direction, tap targets are larger, Reduce Motion is available and advanced tools stay behind progressive disclosure.

What Daniel should notice

The client-facing flow is still deliberately narrow: Record/Import → Review → Listen → Export. The difference is that Review now contains Transcript Intelligence II, so useful search, playback and passage tools are available without forcing Daniel into the dense advanced workspace.
